This course gives early childhood educators practical and fun ways to teach children complicated scientific principles in fun and simple ways. Behind the Science will show you how to teach Newton’s laws of Motion and Density to preschoolers and school-age children with fun experiments. Course length – 2.0 hours.
The course will help answer the following questions:
  • Can children this young, learn Newton’s Laws of Motion?
  • Can children understand density at this age?
  • Is how much mass an object has related to how heavy it is?
  • Are there animals that use catapult technology?
Participants who successfully complete this course will:
  • Understand how young children can comprehend complex laws of science.
  • Learn experiments that display the scientific concepts taught.
  • Discover ways to explain scientific concepts in fun and creative ways.
