Behind the Science: Using Experiments to Teach Science Concepts
If you are employed in a state that uses a registry to track professional development hours, you will be able to provide your registry ID (Stars, MOPID, Registry or other ECE ID#) after you have completed the quiz for the course. This course gives early childhood educators practical and fun ways to teach children complicated scientific principles in fun and simple ways. Behind the Science will show you how to teach Newton’s laws of Motion and Density to preschoolers and school-age children with fun experiments. Course length – 2.0 hours.

Can children this young, learn Newton’s Laws of Motion?
Can children understand density at this age?
Is how much mass an object has related to how heavy it is?
Are there animals that use catapult technology?
Participants who successfully complete this course will:
