• South Dakota Early Childcare Courses

South Dakota does not have a formal approval process in place for training programs and services offered through organizations.  If a South Dakota provider chooses to participate in any outside training opportunity whether it be in-person, live on-line or online on-demand, course content information for the training obtained would need to be pre-approved by the program’s licensing specialist to ensure it will fall under one of the licensing training topic areas to count as training hours for licensing.

We provide courses to South Dakota early childhood educators. We cover a wide range of topics. Our most popular main course categories are art and literature, learning centers, child physical growth and development, curriculum, special needs, and lesson plans. We offer other main course categories by age including infant, toddler, preschool, and school age.  Finally, a group of main course categories for South Dakota early childhood educators are family and community relationships, health, and safety, learning center management, motor skills, preschool, S.T.E.M., social-emotional, staff well-being, and time management.
